A Love LessonSharing everything you live throughA Love Lesson by ShotokanTuning
So much more than romance
Experiences become so much more intense
Every single day you live for two
And the other lives for you
Thrusting with your life
What if your thrust is broken?
One might argue
Lust and attraction are strong emotions
There is something that is stronger still
Would one dare to call it faith, devotion, loyalty or love?
In a selfish world
Where vulnerability is a weakness
Not many know true love
While most think they would die for it
Maybe it's too much to put at stake, too much effort?
Love is work, hard work, if it still seems perfect it isn't real love yet
You cannot wait with giving or forgiving
Until the other would give something back
What if one day both are left waiting?
If true love is broken, you die for a lifetime
In one way or another
Do you dare to truly love?

The undead haunt me,
For there's life yet within.
Their fortified rivers do not halt me,
Quick death I'll bring.
I will end their death call,--
With blade in hand I shall,--
Tread over their high walls!--
The bigger, the harder they'll fall.
No more breath,
No more thought.
End it all with one slash,
Even now they've lost.
Life runs from their broken veins,
Until you'll find your peace;
No more laughter, no more games
Put your frame at ease.
Dark designs run this earth,
Deviously seeking my demons; my inner faults.
I hide my emotional hurt,
More dominant than weeping blades and bolts.
Resting, only when I kill.
Training, lengthy hour after hour.
Soothing, in my stretched skill.
Nourishing, this thirst for power.
With blood and kin seen.
Death is but an empty dream.
